Use of the content of this website
The information published on this website (hereinafter referred to as "Content") may be freely used by anyone, including but not limited to copying, public transmission, translation, transformation, and other adaptations, subject to the following 1) to 6). Commercial use is also permitted. In addition, numerical data, simple tables and graphs, etc. are not subject to copyright, so these usage rules do not apply to them and they may be used freely.
By using the content, you are deemed to have agreed to these usage rules.
1) Regarding source citations
- A) When using the content, please cite the source. Please follow the instructions below to cite the source.

2) Do not infringe on the rights of third parties
- A) Some content may be copyrighted or otherwise owned by a third party (meaning a party other than the state; the same applies below), such as a bibliographic database. Content for which a third party holds the copyright or content for which a third party holds rights other than copyright (e.g. portrait rights in a photograph, publicity rights, etc.) cannot be used without permission from the third party, unless it is expressly stated that the rights have been cleared. Please obtain permission from the third party before use.
- B) Regarding content that a third party holds the rights to, the fact that the third party holds the rights may be directly or indirectly indicated or suggested through source citations, etc., but in some cases the parts to which the third party holds the rights may not be clearly identified or stated. It is the user's responsibility to confirm this before using the content.

3) Content to which these Terms of Use do not apply
The Terms of Use do not apply to the following content:
- A) Symbol marks, logos, and character designs that represent an organization or a specific business
- B) Content that clearly indicates the application of different terms of use along with a specific and reasonable explanation
4) Governing law and jurisdiction
- A) These Terms of Use shall be construed in accordance with the laws of Japan.
- B) In the event of any dispute relating to the use of the Content under the Terms of Use or to the Terms of Use, the exclusive court of first instance shall be the district court with jurisdiction over the location of the organization that published the disputed Content or Terms of Use.
5) Disclaimer
- A) The state shall not be held responsible for any actions taken by users using the content (including the use of information that has been edited or processed from the content).
- B) The content may be changed, moved, deleted, etc. without notice.
6) Other
- A) These Terms of Use do not restrict uses such as quotations that are permitted under Copyright Act.
B) These Terms of Use were established on January 28, 2020. These Terms of Use are based on the Government of Japan Standard Terms of Use (Version 2.0). These Terms of Use may be subject to change in the future. If you are already using content in accordance with a previous version of the Government of Japan Standard Terms of Use, those terms will continue to apply.
